Marsun Delivers First of Eight

Numbers three and four in the shipyard early October 2008.

In November Marsun Shipyard had numbers three and four of an eight boat crewboat order on the hard nearing completion while the first two vessels of the order were already at work in the Gulf of Thailand.

Tidy crew accommodation.

The 36 by 7.6-meter crew boats are each powered by three Cummins KTA38 M2 engines each rated for 1350 HP at 1950 RPM. They turn propellers through Twin Disc gears. Auxiliary power for each vessel is a par of Cummins 6BT-powered 90 kW generators.

For general arrangement and full spec please see Cummins Hotips#467 (January 2008).
