New Hyundai Floating Drydock

Korea's Hyundai is one of the largest shipbuilders in the world. The firm has several existing floating dry-docks and is building more. One of the most recent is a 335-meter long giant that has a pair of cranes that can traverse the length of the sidewall. Power for the dry-dock's ballast pumps is provided by two radiator cooled QSK60-D(M)'s of 1825 kWe, paralleled and sharing load through a central switchboard.  Each engine drives a Hyundai water-cooled two bearing alternator.
