Texas Yard Delivers Three

Things have been busy at the John Bludworth Shipyard in Corpus Christie Texas over the past few months. In June they delivered the 110 by 32-foot towboat Melvin R. Todd to Blessey Marine Service. A pair of Cummins KTA50-M2 engines powers the 3200 hp pushboat. Then in August they launched the 84 by 30-foot Joe Collins for Republic Barge Lines. Then this October a sister ship, the W.W. Monson was launched for the same owner. Both of these 2400 hp vessels are powered by a pair of Cummins KTA38-M2 diesels. Cummins Southern Plains supplied all engines.
