Quebec Yard Launches for Nova Scotia Fishing Firm

This April will see the delivery of a new 85-foot trawler to Yarmouth Sea Products of Meteghan Nova Scotia. Chantier Naval Forillon in Gaspe Quebec is building the vessel. Main engine on the boat is a Cummins KTA38M1 delivering 1000 hp at 1800 RPM. A pair of 188-hp Cummins 6CTA8.3D-M-powered gen sets produces 135 kW of electricity for ship's electrical power and refrigeration.
