The boats are equipped with 50-ton braking load electric over hydraulic towing winches. And electro-hydraulic release towing hooks. Electrical power will be provided by a pair of Cummins 6BT5.9-powered 45 Kw generator sets.. The tugs are fitted with fire monitors and meet SOLAS FIFI requirements.
